Rihanna’s cigarette-inspired artwork for new single ‘Diamonds’

The new single of Rihanna will surely attract a lot of attention. The popular 24-year-old singer has shared online the artwork for her new single ‘Diamonds’. The artwork represents, unsurprisingly, a lot of diamonds.

The cover is featured in the black and white colors. It shows the star rolling what appears to be a cigarette, but instead of tobacco, the rizla paper is fulfilled with precious stones.

‘Diamonds’ is set for worldwide premiere and launch on Wednesday of this week (26 September, 2012). It will be the first release from Rihanna’s seventh studio album, the follow up to her 2011 release, Talk That Talk.

Not so long ago, the star has described the single as ‘happy and hippy’. Rihanna added that the song is laid-back but it is hopeful. It’s a song that gives her such a great feeling when she listens to it. The lyrics in the record are very optimistic and positive, the song is about love and a little different to what people would expect.

Rihanna expressed his opinion saying that she would surprise people sonically.

There were rumors that Burns and Labrinth, UK production stars, have took part in working out of Rihanna’s new album.
